Mazda Motonari RX

That there is a bad-ass robo car from the year 2050. At least that's what Mazda thinks. Who am I to disagree? I mean, I don't like EVER think of cars or anything. This could be next year's model that everyone is hot for, for all I know.

Here is a bit that I grabbed from autoblog.com. I've never been there before today.

The Car: The 2057 Mazda MotoNari RX is not so much a car you drive as a mobile suit you wear. Once the driver dons the MotoNari RX, he and the car become virtually indistinguishable. A suit worn by the driver is one interface through which the MotoNari RX can be controlled, while acceleration and turning are handled by two "armrest mounted control points". Handling appears to be influenced also by the driver's own body, which can lean into turns like a street luge racer. Mazda claims four omni-wheels can turn the MotoNari RX in any direction.

Pretty wild. I wonder if that car will ever actually be created? Prolly not. The future is too far away you know? Too much is gonna change between now and then. Whatever though, it's a nifty car and that's worth at least a peek or two.
